The business started manufacturing vinyl interior finishes for in-ground pre-engineered swimming pools and established an expanding market throughout N.S.W., VIC, A.C.T., N.T. & W.A.
The core area of business throughout the 80’s & 90’s concentrated on supplying interior finishes to other manufacturing companies producing modulated swimming pool systems. Over that period Ocean Blue also started a replacement service for older liner pools direct to retail and established a network service for pool shops and pool builders to not only replace pool liners in modular pools, but expand that service in lining concrete & fibreglass pools requiring a new surface because of age, leakage or choice.
As materials and labour conditions have changed over recent years within most industries, from building to manufacturing. Almost all of the companies that were involved in manufacturing pre-engineered pool kits over that early period are no longer in business today as a result of these conditions.
The Modular iPool system today is the most advanced method of construction in pre-engineered concrete swimming pools in Australia. Ten years of development and over 36 years of experience have been put into the next stage and the life of this company’s future.
